The Pride Victory 10 LX is a full-size mobility scooter we really like for someone who wants more comfort, stability and suspension than a traditional travel scooter.
With a 400 lb weight capacity, front and rear Comfort-Trac Suspension, an 18" x 18" high-back seat and speeds of up to approximately 9 km/h, the Victory 10 LX is designed to be a comfortable everyday scooter for both indoor and outdoor use.
In our opinion, this is a great step up for someone who has outgrown the comfort or capability of a smaller travel scooter but does not necessarily need one of Pride’s largest outdoor models.
Our Thoughts on the Victory 10 LX
What stands out to us most is the ride quality.
The Victory 10 LX uses Pride’s Comfort-Trac Suspension at both the front and rear, helping absorb sidewalk joints, bumps and uneven pavement.
You also get a high-back reclining seat rather than the smaller folding seats typically found on travel scooters.
For someone who spends longer periods on their scooter, we think those two features alone can make a significant difference in comfort.
Who We Think It Is Best For
We think the Victory 10 LX works particularly well for neighbourhood use, shopping, appointments, retirement communities, paved sidewalks and longer everyday outings.
Its 400 lb capacity and larger seat also make it a good option for users who need more space and support than a compact scooter provides.
The scooter is still manageable in many indoor environments, but its approximately 61-inch turning radius means it needs more room than a Go-Go travel scooter.
If most of your use will be in very tight apartments or elevators, we would want to make sure the size works for your environment.
What We Like Most
The combination of suspension and seating is our favourite part of the Victory 10 LX.
The reclining high-back seat includes a seat slider, adjustable headrest and adjustable armrests, giving it a much more substantial seating system than most portable scooters.
We also like the full LED lighting package, which includes front lighting, rear lighting, directional signals and a courtesy light under the tiller.
The delta tiller with wraparound handles gives the user multiple hand positions and can also be easier to operate for someone with reduced hand strength.
Range & Everyday Use
The Victory 10 LX uses 40Ah batteries and Pride Canada rates it for up to approximately 25.5 km of driving range per charge.
Its maximum speed is approximately 9 km/h, making it faster than most compact travel scooters while still remaining very manageable for everyday use.
Actual range will vary depending on user weight, terrain, hills, battery condition, temperature and driving habits.
Portability & Transportation
One feature we like is Pride’s feather-touch disassembly system, which allows the front and rear sections of the scooter to separate.
However, we would still consider the Victory 10 LX a full-size scooter rather than a true travel scooter.
The front section alone weighs roughly 78 lb when separated, so this is not something we would recommend to someone whose main priority is regularly lifting their scooter into a vehicle by hand.
If transportation is required frequently, we would usually discuss an appropriate vehicle lift or a smaller scooter.
Things We Would Consider Before Buying
The Victory 10 LX is larger and heavier than most travel scooters.
That extra size contributes to the more comfortable seating and stable ride, but it also means you need more turning space and a practical transportation plan.
Pride offers both solid and pneumatic tire options. Solid tires require less maintenance and eliminate concerns about punctures, while pneumatic tires can provide a softer ride but require proper inflation and maintenance.
We would choose between the two based on how and where the scooter will actually be used.
Is the Pride Victory 10 LX Worth It?
We think the Victory 10 LX is a very strong option for someone who prioritizes comfort and everyday usability over maximum portability.
The combination of a 400 lb capacity, front and rear suspension, high-back seating, good driving range and full lighting package makes it a very complete scooter.
If you need something extremely lightweight for frequent vehicle transportation, we would look at a smaller model.
If you want a comfortable full-size scooter for regular indoor and outdoor mobility, the Victory 10 LX is one we would absolutely recommend comparing.
