At Function At Home Inc., we take pride in providing quality home medical and mobility equipment to our customers. Due to the specialized nature of our products, we maintain an All Sales Final policy.

We encourage all customers to carefully review product specifications, measurements, features, and suitability before completing a purchase. Our team is happy to assist with any questions before an order is placed.

1. All Sales Are Final

​

All purchases made through Function At Home Inc., whether online, by phone, or in-store, are final sale.

We do not accept returns, refunds, or exchanges for reasons including, but not limited to:

• Change of mind or personal preference.

• Ordering the incorrect size, model, or product.

• Products that are no longer needed.

• Products that do not meet a customer's personal preferences or expectations, where the product is otherwise as described.

• Products that have been opened, assembled, installed, or used.

This policy applies to all products, including mobility scooters, power wheelchairs, lift chairs, hospital beds, bathroom safety equipment, walking aids, and other medical equipment.

Exceptions apply to damaged, defective, or incorrectly supplied products and circumstances where a remedy is required by applicable law.

2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

If your product arrives damaged, is defective, or differs from what was ordered, please contact Function At Home Inc. as soon as reasonably possible.

Please include your order information, a description of the issue, and photographs where applicable.

Our team will review the concern and determine an appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, depending on the circumstances, manufacturer warranty coverage, and applicable consumer protection requirements.

Customers should contact us before returning any equipment. Where a return is necessary, we will provide instructions for in-store return, shipping, or pickup, as appropriate. Return transportation costs for eligible defective or incorrectly supplied products will be handled in accordance with applicable law.

3. Manufacturer Warranties

​

Many products sold by Function At Home Inc. include a manufacturer's warranty.

Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and procedures vary by manufacturer and product.

Products experiencing mechanical failures or manufacturing defects may qualify for warranty service, repair, or replacement according to the manufacturer's warranty terms and applicable law.

Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, improper use, and unauthorized modifications may not be covered under manufacturer warranties.

4. Custom Orders and Funded Equipment

​

Custom-built, specially ordered, or individually configured medical and mobility equipment is final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, or exchanged for change-of-mind reasons.

This includes equipment ordered through funding programs such as the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), Non-Insured Health Benefits (NIHB), and other third-party funding arrangements.

Applicable funding-program conditions and statutory consumer rights continue to apply.

5. Rental Equipment

​

Rental equipment is subject to the terms of the customer's rental agreement.

Monthly rental payments are non-refundable once the rental period has commenced. Early return of equipment does not entitle the customer to a partial or prorated refund for the remaining rental period, except where required by law.

6. Delivery and Installation Charges

​

Delivery, setup, and installation charges are non-refundable once those services have been completed, except where required by applicable law.

​

7. Approved Refunds

​

Where a refund is authorized due to an eligible product issue or required by law, refunds will generally be issued to the original payment method as promptly as practicable and within any applicable legal deadlines.

Customers will be informed of any required return procedures and next steps.
