The Pride Revo 2.0 is a mobility scooter we really like for someone who wants more comfort, stability and capacity than a traditional travel scooter, but still needs something that can come apart for transportation.
With a 400 lb weight capacity, front and rear suspension, a comfortable seat and a heavy-duty drivetrain, the Revo 2.0 feels much more substantial than most compact scooters.
In our opinion, it sits in a very useful middle ground between a lightweight travel scooter and a larger full-size mobility scooter.
 
Our Thoughts on the Revo 2.0
 
What stands out to us most is how well-rounded the Revo 2.0 is.
A lot of travel scooters are designed almost entirely around being lightweight. That is great for transportation, but it can mean smaller seats, firmer rides and less stability.
The Revo 2.0 takes a different approach.
It is heavier and more substantial, but in return you get front and rear Comfort-Trac suspension, a larger comfortable seat, a 400 lb capacity and a much more solid feel while driving.
For someone who still wants portability but values comfort just as much, we think that trade-off makes a lot of sense.
 
Who We Think the Revo 2.0 Is Best For
 
We think the Revo 2.0 is an excellent option for shopping, appointments, retirement residences, neighbourhood trips and regular indoor/outdoor use.
It is particularly worth considering for someone who finds smaller travel scooters uncomfortable or too lightweight.
The 400 lb capacity also gives it significantly more flexibility than most compact scooters.
That said, weight capacity alone does not determine fit. Seat width, legroom, transfers and overall comfort still need to be considered before choosing any scooter.
 
What We Like Most
 
The suspension is probably our favourite feature.
Pride's Comfort-Trac suspension is installed at both the front and rear, which helps absorb sidewalk joints, bumps and uneven pavement.
We also like the drivetrain.
The Revo 2.0 uses an ultra heavy-duty drivetrain with a 70-amp controller, giving it a more robust feel than many smaller portable scooters.
You also get a delta tiller, LED headlight, USB charging port and the ability to charge the batteries either on or off the scooter.
Overall, it feels like a scooter designed for everyday use rather than occasional travel only.
 
Portability & Transportation
 
One of the biggest advantages of the Revo 2.0 is that it still disassembles for transportation.
That gives someone the ability to move it in a vehicle without needing to transport the scooter completely assembled.
However, we would not put the Revo 2.0 in the same category as an ultra-light scooter like the Go-Go Carbon.
It is a heavier, more substantial scooter, and that is part of why it rides the way it does.
If easy lifting is your number-one priority, there are lighter options.
If you are willing to handle a little more weight in exchange for better suspension, seating and overall stability, we think the Revo 2.0 is a much stronger all-around scooter.
 
Range & Everyday Use
 
Pride rates the Revo 2.0 for up to approximately 28.8 km of range at a 200 lb user weight and approximately 20 km at its 400 lb maximum capacity.
That gives it plenty of range for most shopping trips, appointments and neighbourhood use.
Actual range will vary depending on user weight, terrain, temperature, battery condition and driving habits.
The maximum speed is approximately 8 km/h, which is faster than many basic travel scooters while still remaining very manageable for everyday use.
 
Things We Would Consider Before Buying
 
The Revo 2.0 is larger and heavier than a typical travel scooter.
Its 52-inch turning radius means it will need more room indoors than something like the Go-Go Elite Traveller 2.
If you live in a very tight apartment or need to frequently navigate small elevators and narrow spaces, we would want to make sure the Revo actually fits your environment.
We would also consider how often you need to load it into a vehicle and who will be doing the lifting.
For someone prioritizing the absolute easiest transportation possible, a lighter scooter may make more sense.
For someone prioritizing ride quality, stability and comfort, the Revo 2.0 becomes much more appealing.
 
Is the Pride Revo 2.0 Worth It?
 
We think the Revo 2.0 is one of Pride's strongest options for someone who wants a scooter that is still transportable but does not feel like a lightweight travel scooter.
The combination of a 400 lb capacity, front and rear suspension, heavy-duty drivetrain and comfortable seating makes it a very versatile everyday scooter.
If your biggest priority is minimum weight, we would look at something smaller.
If you want a more substantial ride while still having the ability to disassemble the scooter for transportation, the Revo 2.0 is one we would absolutely recommend comparing.
