The Pride Go-Go Sport 4-Wheel is a travel mobility scooter we like for someone who wants a little more size, capacity and stability than some of the smaller Go-Go models while still being able to take the scooter apart for transportation.
With a 325 lb weight capacity, larger 9-inch tires and a 17" x 17" seat, the Go-Go Sport feels more substantial than many compact travel scooters.
In our opinion, it is a great option for someone who likes the simplicity and portability of the Go-Go lineup but wants a scooter that feels a little bigger underneath them.
 
Our Thoughts on the Go-Go Sport
 
What we like about the Go-Go Sport is that it keeps things relatively simple.
There are no complicated electronics or unnecessary features. You get a strong travel scooter with a good weight capacity, comfortable seating, a delta tiller, bright LED lighting and Pride’s easy disassembly system.
The 4-wheel configuration also gives the scooter a stable footprint that many users prefer, particularly when transitioning between indoor and outdoor environments.
For someone looking for a straightforward everyday scooter rather than the lightest possible scooter, we think the Go-Go Sport still makes a lot of sense.
 
Who We Think It Is Best For
 
We think the Go-Go Sport works particularly well for shopping, appointments, malls, retirement residences, paved sidewalks and general everyday mobility.
Its 325 lb capacity gives it slightly more flexibility than many 300 lb travel scooters, while the 17" x 17" seat provides a comfortable conventional seating position for many users.
The 4-wheel model has a turning radius of approximately 41.5 inches, so it remains quite maneuverable for its size.
For someone who needs the absolute tightest turning scooter possible, there are other options in the Go-Go lineup. But if you value four-wheel stability and a slightly more substantial platform, we think the Sport strikes a good balance.
 
What We Like Most
 
One of our favourite things about the Go-Go Sport is the simplicity of the design.
The delta tiller provides wraparound handles that allow different hand positions and can be easier to operate for someone with limited hand strength.
The tiller-mounted charging port is also convenient, while the battery pack can be charged either on or off the scooter.
We also like the larger 9-inch tires compared with some smaller travel scooters. They do not turn the Sport into a rough-terrain scooter, but they contribute to the more substantial feel of the scooter.

Portability & Transportation
 
The Go-Go Sport uses Pride’s feather-touch disassembly system and separates into five pieces for transportation or storage.
On the 4-wheel model, the heaviest section weighs approximately 44 lb.
That is important to know.
We consider the Go-Go Sport transportable, but we would not describe it as an ultra-light scooter. If you plan to regularly lift the scooter into a vehicle by yourself, we strongly recommend trying the disassembly and lifting process first.
If minimum lifting weight is your biggest concern, there are lighter options in Pride’s lineup.
If you are comfortable with a slightly heavier front section in exchange for a larger and more substantial scooter, the Go-Go Sport becomes much more appealing.
 
Range & Everyday Use
 
Pride Canada rates the 4-wheel Go-Go Sport for up to approximately 19.3 km of driving range per charge and speeds of up to approximately 7.5 km/h.
That gives it plenty of capability for most shopping trips, appointments and everyday outings.
Actual range will vary depending on user weight, terrain, battery condition, temperature and driving habits.
 
Things We Would Consider Before Buying
 
The Go-Go Sport does not have suspension, so we would keep expectations realistic when it comes to outdoor comfort.
It works very well on smooth flooring, shopping centres, paved sidewalks and similar surfaces, but it would not be our first choice for regular driving over grass, gravel or badly broken pavement.
We would also consider transportation.
The Sport is larger and heavier than some of Pride’s newer ultra-light travel scooters. For some people, that extra size is exactly what makes it feel better to drive. For others, lifting weight is more important.
There is no universally best scooter — it really depends on how you plan to use it.
 
Is the Pride Go-Go Sport Worth It?
 
We think the Go-Go Sport remains a very solid choice for someone who wants a traditional travel scooter with a little more capacity and substance.
Its 325 lb capacity, four-wheel stability, 17" x 17" seat, larger tires and easy disassembly make it a versatile everyday scooter.
If your priority is the absolute lightest scooter available, we would look elsewhere in the Go-Go lineup.
If you want something that still comes apart for transportation but feels more substantial than the smallest travel scooters, the Go-Go Sport is one we would absolutely recommend comparing.
