Our Thoughts on the Go Go Endurance AL+
 
In our opinion, one of the biggest advantages of the Endurance AL+ is that it does not force you to choose completely between portability and comfort.
The scooter separates into five pieces for transportation, with the heaviest section weighing approximately 35.2 lb. At the same time, Pride includes front and rear CTS suspension, which helps improve the ride over sidewalk joints, transitions and uneven pavement.
That combination makes it especially appealing for someone who will use their scooter both indoors and outdoors.
 
Who We Think It Is Best For
 
We think the Endurance AL+ is a great fit for shopping, appointments, malls, retirement residences, neighbourhood use and smooth outdoor pathways.
It is also a strong choice for someone who wants four-wheel stability but still needs excellent maneuverability.
Pride’s EZ Turn technology gives the scooter a turning radius of approximately 38.4 inches, which is very tight for a four-wheel scooter and makes it easier to navigate stores, apartments, elevators and other smaller spaces.
 
What We Like Most
 
The combination of suspension, portability and maneuverability is what stands out most to us.
The aluminum frame helps reduce weight, the scooter comes apart easily for transportation, and the suspension gives it a more comfortable ride than many basic travel scooters.
We also like Pride’s Charge360 magnetic charging system. Instead of trying to line up a traditional charger connection, the magnetic system helps guide the charger into place.
For someone with reduced hand strength or dexterity, we think that can be genuinely useful.
 
Battery Options
 
The Endurance AL+ is available with either an 8Ah or 16Ah lithium battery.
The 8Ah option is a good choice for shorter trips, shopping and travel, while the larger 16Ah battery provides significantly more driving range for users who regularly travel longer distances.
Pride rates the 16Ah battery for up to approximately 29 km of range under its lighter-load testing conditions.
Actual range will vary depending on user weight, terrain, hills, temperature, battery condition and driving habits.
The 8Ah battery is also designed to meet applicable airline battery requirements. We still recommend confirming your airline’s individual mobility-device policies before travelling.
 
Things We Would Consider Before Buying
 
Even with suspension, the Endurance AL+ is still a travel scooter.
If most of your driving will be over grass, gravel, heavily broken sidewalks or rough outdoor terrain, we would likely recommend a larger scooter with bigger tires and more ground clearance.
We would also consider how often you will be loading the scooter into a vehicle.
A 35.2 lb heaviest section is light by scooter standards, but that does not automatically make it easy for every person to lift. We always recommend trying the disassembly and lifting process before purchasing if possible.
If your absolute priority is the lowest possible weight, the Go-Go Carbon may make more sense.
If you are willing to accept a little more weight in exchange for suspension, a larger seat and a more substantial ride, we think the Endurance AL+ is the better all-around option.

If you want maximum outdoor capability, we would look at something larger. If you want the absolute lightest scooter possible, we would look at something lighter.
But if you want a strong balance of portability, comfort and everyday usability, the Endurance AL+ is a model we would absolutely recommend comparing.
